FROM CAMPANIA
Caedicia Victris lived in the Ager Falernus area. She was an anphoras seller. She decided to add the wine Falerno in her anphoras and to commercialize the wine by her own brand. Thanks to Caedicia, all the Mediterranean area, could appreciate the Falerno del Massico wine during the Roman Empire. She is considered the first business woman of the history.
FEELING THE TERRITORY
There are romantic places that guard the history, passion and traditions of a territory. Ager Falernus, a terroir celebrated by ancient and modern authors for the fertility of the ground and mild climate, is expressed in the Tenute Bianchino’s wines. Oasis of Mediterranean flavors and aromas, Tenute Bianchino is situated in the heart of the Falerno del Massico Doc production, the most acclaimed and precious wine of ancient Rome and the first DOC in the world. Tenute Bianchino yearns for excellence. Every day a team of experts takes care of every detail of production: that’s why each wine has a different soul, nuances, aromas and flavors.
WE TRANSFORM GRAPES INTO EMOTIONS
Concetta Bianchino, owner of the Casetta Rossa farming company , decided in 2010 to expand the company production by planting native vineyards for the Falerno production. With Concetta and her family, there is Angelo Valentino, one of the the greatest Italian winemakers, who immediately understood the vocation of the territory, the characteristics of the soil and the microclimate position.
visits & tastings
We tell the story of an area rich in history and culture, through the experience of our tours and tastings. It is possible, by reservation only, to visit our winery, the vineyards, the Ballarino Tower and our Show Room. The tour will end with a tasting of our wines, accompanied by excellent food and typical local products.
